December Update!
Just completed installing the Kawasaki 636 shock to replace my decrepit stock shock, which leaked like a sieve. Also pulled the rear subframe and undertray and cleaned throughly at the carwash. There is one small catch broken on the subframe, guess I need to get it welded.
Cleaned all the gunk and deitrus from the lower shock mount and underneath the swingarm. It's a mess down there!
Also, picked up a pair of front forks with emulators and 0.95kg/mm springs installed. Now I just need to get some frame sliders so I can support the front of the bike when removing the stock forks.
Pictures of the "new to me" shock...

I also had the dents and dings removed from the gas tank, the tank is now in primer and needs to be final sanded and then painted. Now I just need to decide on a color.
Dented.
Primered.
